God help me, the new Guitar Hero has arrived Chez Pink.  Good thing I am off to OMGsororitypartyWOOOO!* this weekend with my best girl because otherwise I'd be a Playstation widow.

* Yeah, about that: it's my sorority's "birthday" at our alma mater and the wee ones (you know, the ones who are still age appropriate for a sorority party, ha) are having BIG EVENTS!!!! for us oldsters.  I had to make a hair appointment so I could at least cover the gray in my hair, ahem.  Dude, where's the keg?

Ooh, I know only too well the shame of not having read a big number of important books.  Here's the true reading confessions of a bunch of famous/famousish lit folks.

I think my biggest shameful omissions so far are Moby Dick (particularly egregious since I lived a stone's throw away from where it was written for 7 whole years!) and Charles Dickens in general, whose style I actually rather loathe.  I am trying to be the bigger person and just read at least Great Expectations already, but ugh, it's just so yucky to me.

Happy Halloween, lambies.  I woke up to our entire block being covered with toilet paper, hurrah!  Our house was spared, I guess it's just the chance you take living on the same street as the elementary school, ha.

OMGz, is the NYT serious?  I thought "vajayjay" came and went during the RuPaul era.  This is sooo why we cancelled our Saturday & Sunday paper delivery.

If someone said, "Sarah, what do we have to do to get you to go to our movie for 110% sure?" I would answer something like, "Well, you can have it star Buffy and a former professional wrestler, make it a musical and have the plot be an end of the world dystopian vision.  And in the trailer you release, please have the background music be the Pixies -- 'Wave of Mutilation,' if you can get it.  Oh, and the guy from Donnie Darko, he should direct."
