Mr. Pink and I were just thinking, of all the gajillion dvds we have, the one we have watched the most is definitely Jackass. I mean, I figure we've watched it at least 20 times, not including when we saw it in the theater. God, that movie fucking rules.
So this, of couse, gave rise to a discussion on why the teevee show "Wild Boys" is more similar to the teevee show "Jackass" than "Viva La Bam" is. Our thought is, both "Jackass" and (perhaps less successfully, but still charming) "Wild Boys" are about masochism, whereas "Viva La Bam" is about sadism. Mr. Pink feels that this is somehow related to the Three Stooges and how people tend to like Curly best. Uhm, I don't know, since I am not much into the Stooges, what with having a vagina and all, but I guess there's a point to be taken there, because, like, doesn't Curly get smacked around a lot or something?
All I know is, "Jackass" rules. Rules so very much.
