I can't help but notice that leaves turn soo much later here than in New England. I noticed this morning that our Japanese maple is still green, this while I was having coffee with my Martha Stewart cookbooks, thinking on Thanksgiving dinner recipes even! Nutty! Or, wait, is this global warming? I haven't lived in civilization (well, NJ anyway) for long enough to tell.
Oh, and before I forget: Anna is blogging again, and I didn't even notice until yesterday! OMG, delight! The house she's restoring looks incredible and scary-hard. I was thinking about it today, how, like, I always think, "Oh, I would love to rennovate a house!" and imagine myself in jaunty overalls, Mr. Pink and I playfully painting each other's nose while we're touching up the woodwork. Possibly, in this fantasy, there is some French pop playing in the background? (Come on people, you know you do this too!) Until I realize, uhm, I would probably just spend my Sunday mornings watching tivo'd Gossip Girl and then flipping over to college football and drinking beer, definitely not putting in new beadboard. At least I recognize my own laziness though.
Anyway, point is, Anna is still kicking ass.
